We Are Scientists!

January 2024

In Pink Class, we have been investigating rocks as part of our Science topic. We have been using magnifying glasses to look at the features of different types of rocks. We then learnt about igneous rocks, we picked different coloured starbursts to mould together. We then placed the starbursts into the microwave to create ‘lava’. Once the starbursts were bubbling, we took it out of the microwave and watched it solidify to create a ‘rock’. Some of us may even have tried to eat it!
