Class Teacher

Applications are invited for the post of Class Teacher (2 Posts)

Required from 6th January 2025, or as soon after this date as possible

Thank you for showing interest in our school. Applications are particularly welcomed from teachers who have experience in the Primary Special School setting.

The Governors of Newlands School are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher who:

  •  Is proactive and vigilant in their approach to safeguarding pupils
  •  Is experienced in working within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children
  •  Has the personal and social skills to communicate clearly and sensitively, establishing and sustaining good relationships with parents, pupils and other staff
  •  Is looking for a school where personal professional development is promoted, supported and celebrated
  •  Is an excellent and reflective classroom practitioner
  •  Is caring, committed and highly motivated
  •  Has high expectations of all pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  •  Has the knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to inspire and motivate children to learn.
  •  Has a warm and friendly personality.
  •  Has an excellent understanding of children with severe and complex needs and how to plan for and support their learning and engagement.

 

The successful applicant will have experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or SEND settings.
