Settling In

Laurel Class are getting into the swing of things this term—quite literally! With weekly Forest School sessions, the children have been embracing the outdoors: cooking delicious food over the campfire, relaxing in hammocks, and even swinging from trees!

Back in the classroom, we’ve been busy in Food Technology, learning how to prepare tasty and nutritious meals as part of a healthy diet. Our budding scientists have been exploring the differences between living and non-living things, and more recently, discovering what plants need to grow and thrive.

In English, we’ve been diving into the uplifting story Giraffes Can’t Dance, using it as a springboard to explore emotions, confidence, and the joy of different music and dancing.
